Kainan University Registration Guidelines for Returning Students

Fall Semester, Academic Year 2026 (AY 115)

Registration Day: September 14, 2026 (Monday)

1. Registration Deadline

September 10, 2026 (Thursday)


2. Tuition Payment Slip Availability

Payment slips can be downloaded starting from:

July 24, 2026 (Friday)

3. Tuition and Fees

Please refer to the university's announcement for the tuition and miscellaneous fee standards for AY 2026.

For students enrolled in In-Service Bachelor's, Master's, or Executive Master's programs, tuition is calculated based on the number of credit hours taken each semester.

If a student withdraws after registration, tuition and credit fees will be refunded according to university regulations. Any additional credits (including delayed graduation credits) will require payment of the corresponding credit fees.


4. Payment Methods

When paying tuition, please prepare the following information:

  • Bank: Taiwan Cooperative Bank
  • Account Name: Kainan University
  • Virtual Account Number: (Refer to your payment slip)
  • Student ID: (Your student number)

Payment Options

  1. Credit Card Payment
  2. Convenience Store Payment
    • Available at 7-ELEVEN, FamilyMart, Hi-Life, and OK Mart.
    • Processing Time: 14 business days
  3. Mobile Payment (Taiwan Pay)
    • Scan the QR code on your payment slip.
    • Processing Time: 3–7 business days
  4. ATM Transfer
    • Select Transfer
    • Bank Code: 006 (Taiwan Cooperative Bank)
    • Enter the virtual account number shown on your payment slip.
    • Enter the payment amount.
    • Complete the transaction.
    • Processing Time: 2 business days
  5. Counter Payment at Taiwan Cooperative Bank
    • Processing Time: 2 business days
  6. Transfer from Other Banks
    • Account Name: Kainan University
    • Bank: Taiwan Cooperative Bank
    • Account Number: Refer to your payment slip.
    • Processing Time: 2 business days
  7. Cash Payment on Campus
    • Students may pay in cash at the Cashier's Office.
    • Registration will be completed immediately after payment.

Tuition Fee Waiver / Student Loan / Administrative Exemption

Students eligible for tuition waivers should complete their application through the Student Information System before September 10, 2026.

Students applying for a Taiwan Bank Student Loan should complete the online application and submit all required documents to the university between August 1 and September 10, 2026.

Students who qualify for government tuition assistance should also complete the required procedures within the specified period.


Course Registration

Please complete course selection through the Academic Affairs System:

Students should follow the academic calendar and complete course registration within the designated period.

Failure to register or dropping courses after the deadline will be handled according to university regulations.


Important Notes

1. Tuition Payment

Tuition must be paid before September 10, 2026. Please allow sufficient processing time depending on the payment method.

Estimated processing time:

  • Taiwan Cooperative Bank Counter: 2 business days
  • ATM Transfer: 2 business days
  • Credit Card: 7 business days
  • Convenience Store: 14 business days after collection

2. Failure to Register

According to Article 10 of the Kainan University Academic Regulations, students who fail to complete registration by the deadline will be regarded as withdrawing from the university.

3. Student Group Insurance

According to university regulations, all enrolled students are covered by Student Group Insurance.

Students who do not pay the registration fees within 7 days after the semester begins will be considered as not participating in the insurance program and must bear any related responsibilities themselves.


4. Student ID Validation

Students who need their student ID validated should bring:

  • Student ID Card
  • A photocopy of the front side of the student ID

to the Registration Section (Administration Building N107).
